Feeding the Moonfish
Feeding the Moonfish by Barbara Wiechmann follows an evening when the lives of Martin and Eden collide after Eden stows away in Martin's car as he travels to a lakeside dock following a shift at the steakhouse where they work. Whilst Martin is haunted by Voices that are encouraging him to follow in his father's suicidal footsteps, Eden reaches out in order to establish a connection. Feeding the Moonfish is a play about isolation and how when we are left to our own devices, we are bound to fall together. This production was staged following the COVID-conscious protocols that University of North Carolina at Greensboro adopted for its 2020-2021 live theatre season.
