Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka Jr.
The Conservatory at Gulfshore Playhouse
Featuring tunes from the 1971 film in addition to new songs, Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka Jr. tells the familiar tale of Charlie Bucket's journey through Willy Wonka's enthralling chocolate factory. This production utilized shadow puppetry to address heightened moments of theatricality, such as the nightmarish scenes on the Pink Candy Boat (constructed by pink umbrellas to address minimal wing space and storage) and Mike Teavee's shrinking.
Director: John Perine

Choreographer: Vasthy Mompoint
Assistant Choreographer: Alyson Snyder
